What if my study plans change due to COVID-19?

We know there’s a lot of uncertainty around test dates and application cycles right now. If you purchase an account and your plans change, just email help@magoosh.com. We will pause your account until you're ready to start studying or give you a free extension until your new test date.

What is LawHub Advantage ?

LawHub Advantage is a library of over 60 official LSAT exams given on prior test dates that allows you to take practice tests on the exact same digital platform you'll use on test day. LSAC, the maker of the LSAT, requires all test prep companies using official practice questions have their students enrolled in LawHub Advantage. When you sign up for a Magoosh account that includes LawHub Advantage, you'll receive an email from LSAC with instructions on how to set up your account. You will have access to your LawHub Advantage account for 12 months and it's yours to keep.

What if I'm taking the LSAT-Flex?

We have created special resources specifically for students taking the LSAT-Flex. This includes an overview of the changes, study tips, and instructions on how to take a practice LSAT-Flex test.

How does the score guarantee work?

We guarantee after completing our premium program, you'll see a 5 point increase over your old scores or we'll give you your money back. Note: if you purchased a Premium plan that includes a subscription to LawHub Advantage ($115), please note that we are unable to refund this portion of the plan, as it is paid to LSAC. However, it is yours to keep for 12 months from the time of purchase.

How does the refund policy work?

If you’re unhappy for any reason, email us within 7 days of purchasing, and we will give you a full refund of the Magoosh portion of your plan. No strings attached. If you purchased a Premium plan that includes a subscription to LawHub Advantage ($115), please note that we are unable to refund this portion of the plan, as it is paid to LSAC. However, even if you cancel your Magoosh subscription, your access to LSAC Official Prep is yours to keep for 12 months from the time of purchase. If you purchase Magoosh using a non-US credit card and request a refund, sometimes your credit card company will keep the foreign currency transaction fee.

What currency are the prices listed in?

All prices are in USD (United States Dollars).

If I'm struggling with a question, can I get help?

We’re happy to help you with questions you have about any of our material. Send us a message while you're studying, and we'll get back to you quickly. We do have limitations to how much we can help any individual student, but in most cases (for 99% of students), we can answer all of your questions!

What types of payment do you accept?

Currently we accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. You can pay via a credit card or debit card that has any of those logos. You may need to call your bank to ask them to authorize the transaction if you are located outside of the United States. We also accept PayPal.

Do I get support?

Yes! We respond to customer requests as quickly as possible (usually within 1-2 business days if not sooner). You can use the "Help" tab on the Dashboard or email us at help@magoosh.com.

Do you offer discounts for students with LSAC fee waivers?

We offer free LSAT prep accounts to all students who qualify for an LSAC fee waiver. All you have to do is forward us the email you received from LSAC stating you are eligible for a fee waiver to help@magoosh.com. Make sure to include your full name and LSAC account number as well. If you do not qualify for an LSAC fee waiver and cannot afford Magoosh, please reach out to help@magoosh.com to learn about our financial aid options.

Do you have official LSAT questions? Who creates your content?

Yes, we have licensed official questions from LSAC, and these are the only questions we use. With Magoosh, you'll practice with REAL questions from past LSAT exams, and get written and video explanations for each one from our expert instructors. Our strategy lesson videos are created by respected LSAT experts with many years of LSAT tutoring experience.

Who should use Magoosh?

Anyone can use Magoosh, but it's best for individuals who fall into one of the following categories:

• Self-studiers: those who prefer to study on their own time and at their own pace.
• Video lovers: those who learn better by watching video than through reading or live-learning. Every practice question has a video explanation.
• Busy professionals: those who do not have much time to study and want to sneak in a practice session here and there.

Do I need to have taken the test before?

No! Many of our students are first-time LSAT test-takers, so if you're ready to start studying now, you should go ahead and sign up! Our lessons start from the beginning and teach you everything you need to know about the LSAT, so taking the test prior is not required.

How does the course work?

It’s 100% online. No DVDs. No books. It works on both Macs and PCs: any device with an internet connection!

How many times will I be charged?

Just one time for any paid plan. We don't store your credit card information, so we definitely won't charge you on a monthly basis or anything like that. It's a one-time, upfront fee, and that's it.

Can I buy multiple accounts at once?

Instructors who are interested in buying accounts for your students: e-mail us at help@magoosh.com and we'd be happy to work something out with you.

Do you have iPad/iPhone/Android access?

Yes we do! You can use your mobile browser to get full access to the site, and we have free apps, including our top-ranked LSAT flashcards app and a prep app to help you learn LSAT basics.

Do I have to pay a monthly fee?

Nope! You pay once and have access to the product for the length of your subscription. If you'd like access for longer, just email us and we'll see what we can do.

Do you store my credit card information?

No, all transactions are run through PayPal. We do not store anyone's credit card information.

Can I get help with material from other test prep sites or books?

We do not answer questions about outside sources beyond official LSAT content. We're a small team, and to keep our prices affordable for students, we prioritize Magoosh and officially released materials. :)
